Doug Bennett-Principle and New Business Development - After attending Northern Arizona University, where he studied business management, Doug has gathered versatile business knowledge that he passes onto his clients every day. Doug got his first taste of the media world as a business development manager for NBC television, and then followed in the entrepreneurial footsteps of his parents by opening, running and then selling a variety of retail and restaurant ventures. Combining all that, he began Overdrive Media over 10 years ago to help small to medium sized businesses maximize their marketing expenditures, create effective and cost efficient campaigns and help them drive the overall growth of their organizations.
Carrie Bennett-Direct Mail Products - With a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the Telecommunications industry supporting numerous commercial, government and educational clients, Carri is our leader of the direct mail division. Her skills in creating effective and targeted direct mail campaigns creates success for our clients in an often underutilized marketing avenue.
Bob Causey-New Business Development - A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Bob brings 10 years of sales experience to Overdrive Advertising. A member of the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and Flagstaff Exchange Club, Bob is a very active personality in the Flagstaff community. An avid golfer, if you can’t find him in the office during the summer you might have better luck looking for him on the course discussing a new deal with a future Overdrive client.
Dylan Turner-Electronic and Print Media - Arizona native and avid outdoors man; Dylan Turner made his way to Flagstaff and received a degree in Advertising and Electronic Media from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Northern Arizona University. Dylan has brought years of cross-platform non-linear video editing experience to Overdrive Advertising's electronic media department. Dylan cut his teeth in the industry by first working on various documentary projects, but then moved into the fast-paced world of news and commercial editing for an NBC affiliate where he was responsible for client commercial production and the overall production and direction of the local 6pm newscast.
Mike Handy-Project Management - A USAF Veteran, Mike attended Arizona State’s Walter Cronkite School of Broadcasting which, through internships and “creative stalking”, lead to his first position in new business development for media giant CBS Radio. Mike’s persistence of asking open-ended questions that help flush out why and how the client’s current business development process isn’t working are second to none in the industry. His, “No, we can get that done” attitude, innovative strategies and tactics and a sincere concern and care for getting projects done keeps us all on our toes here at Overdrive.
Tom Bennett-Human Resources and Accounting - With an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, over 40 years of sales experience and almost 35 years as a small business owner, Tom Bennett brings a plethora of skills that have helped us streamline how we do business on both an internal and external basis. As with most “retired” entrepreneurs, Tom lasted about 30 days before coming out retirement to deal with all of our accounting and operational functions. A husband of 44 years, father of 4, with 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Tom currently lives in Goodyear with his wife June.
